DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nJoin us to create your own version of found poetry. Using books and different art supplies\, we will allow our souls and our creativity to be guided through a process to create poetic artwork. \nThis workshop\, led by Rev Meg McBride will be educational\, inspirational\, and spiritual. It will also provide an opportunity for us to get to know each other on a deeper level. \nWhat is found poetry?  Found poems take existing texts and refashion them\, reorder them\, and present them as poems. The literary equivalent of a collage\, found poetry is often made from newspaper articles\, street signs\, graffiti\, speeches\, letters\, or even other poems. \nBooks (purchased at a thrift store) and some art supplies will be provided. Feel free to bring your own book if you prefer\, or any special art supplies that you would like to use to create your artwork. \nJoin us Saturday\, March 28th\, 2pm-4:30pm. Email Paula to register.
