On the last Wednesday of each month Spiritual Soul Center will be hosting a live performance series that features local talented songwriters. This event is a “listening room” type of event, which simply means that during the performance we ask that guests do not have any conversations or produce any “noise”, as both of these will interfere with the delivery of each artist’s performance. This event is FREE but it is also a “pass the hat” style event. This means that the artist will be paid based on your tips, so please bring cash!

This month our featured artist will be Tyler Mckaig! She is a singer/songwriter that loves to play her guitar and sing every day. She was born in Wilmington, NC and raised in Little River, SC, just over the state line.

She was first introduced to a microphone at age 6 when she performed solo at her school talent show. Her first paid gig was in Wilmington, NC in 2009 and she continued to play a variety of venues constantly ever since. Some of her career highlights include a jazz performance at the Wilson Center and being a featured artist in Encore Magazine and on local radio station 98.7 Modern Rock.

Tyler lets her music do the talking as she is currently writing her third album following her last “River to Sea” EP and her first self-titled album.

We invite everyone to come enjoy the beautiful songs written by Tyler and there will be a short Q&A session between you, the audience, and the artist before they perform their final song. This will be a great time, and we hope that you can make it!
