For four decades, Domestic Violence Shelter and Services, Inc. has been a safe haven for survivors and their children. Their mission is to provide comprehensive support, advocacy, and resources to help individuals heal, regain independence, and thrive in safe environments. Every day, they work to empower survivors, raise awareness, and create a stronger, more compassionate community.

When mostly women and children enter the door they are scared and exhausted. The Open Gate offers someplace safe to land. With the gift cards we buy they will be able to get gas for their car, a quick meal for their children and  a few necessities from the drugstore for those first critical days away from the abuse and their abuser.

Please drop a dollar or two or ten or twenty in the box for these women…to remind them they are worthy and that they deserve all good things.
