If you can’t actually use spiritual teachings in daily life, what good are they? We’ve got to learn how to live in the world and remain true to our spiritual nature…true to our soul. In this next series we put a laser focus on how to live spiritually in this world of economic inequality, a general disrespect of differences and divisive political and social rhetoric. In a world where having a different opinion will get you bullied, shut out, unfriended or worse.

The antidote is to live radically…like Jesus, Muhammad, Buddha or Vivekananda. They all rocked the world…they were all trouble makers of a sort. They questioned the way things were and offered, by example and through teaching, a new way of living. They were radical. They didn’t advise overthrowing a government, seizing power or obliterating the enemy. Their messages were personal and powerful. Their followers were like you and me.

To live radically we will need to get to the root of the matter. We’ll dig deep inside of us, be honest, get real and hopefully, decide to live radically.

Inspired by Brené Brown’s book:
Braving the Wilderness, The Quest for True Belonging and the Courage to Stand Alone.
