You feel it when you are hurt. It is a sensation. You know this. Hurt runs through your whole being. It pulses and it ripples.
Ripples sometimes grow and turn into something bigger. You know this, too. You experience waves of grief or anxiety. Or rushes of excitement.
The ripples and waves are not contained by your skin.
Your presence leaves an impression in the world. Your grief, sadness and anxiety do that. It’s also true of your goodness, joy and compassion. It’s been happening your whole life. It’s one way you contribute to the whole of creation. As only you can. You feel, and the world feels it, too.
Be mindful of the ripples and waves. Let yourself feel them. Be mindful, too, of how they impact the world.
