The homeless population served by Vigilant Hope was so very appreciative of the coats, gloves, hats and scarves we provided in October. Now we’ve been asked to step in again…this time to help feed a warm breakfast to these folks during this winter weather. Twice a week volunteers at Vigilant Hope provide a warm breakfast for about 100 people. The supplies they need are basic and essential…something we can easily provide. This seemingly small gesture makes a big difference to those in need. Thank you for your loving support of our community.

Pancake mix – water added type only

Syrup – any and all flavors

Oranges and bananas

Gift cards to Sam’s, Costco or other grocery store – because they have limited refrigerated storage…they use these to purchase eggs, bacon and sausage as needed.

Drop off your donation at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation

4313 Lake Avenue, Wilmington

between 10am and noon on Saturday, January 16th.

See you there! And thank you…you make a difference!
