The ability to change your mind and your thinking is the biggest, most powerful ability you have. You have complete control over what you choose to think and believe. No one can take this power from you. You decide to stay the course or to change it. Your mind is that powerful.

Often, we focus on the things we can’t change. In a nutshell, that includes everything else! All the stuff outside of our mind; other people, situations, circumstances. It reminds me of the quote by Leo Tolstoy…

“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.”

The quality of life is dictated, to a great degree, by what is held in our mind. Our mind is the source of angst and worry or hope and possibility. It is the source of tension and discord or peace and ease. The state of our mind in the moment determines our experience of the moment. Two people can witness the exact same event and have two totally different experiences. It all depends on the thoughts and beliefs you carry in your mind.

This is a call to examine your mind. Observe your thoughts and your beliefs. Would a change of mind improve your quality of life? Or are you satisfied where you are? You decide.

With great confidence in the power of the mind
