On Sunday at Soul Center I ended our meditation with this reading by jung pueblo from his book, inward.
they asked her,
“why are we here at a time when
there is so much misery and despair?”
she responded,
“because you answered the call. the earth signaled for
heroes, and the heavens sent forth the ones who were
most ready to grow and unleash their unconditional
love. you’re here to shine the light of your own
healing, to offer the world the gift of your balance
and peace.”
What if it’s true? Could you believe this about yourself? Is this a possibility?
Even if you don’t believe you answered a call or that somehow you are a hero…what if you decide to unleash unconditional love and offer the world your balance and peace? What if you did that? What if a whole bunch of us did that? Can you imagine?
It is powerful to imagine that Creation Itself intentionally put me here. Not to suffer or struggle, but to grow and unleash…to shine and offer the gift. I mean, my life. For this. Incredible.
